How do I start a Program?
So, you're ready to make a Program?
Follow a few easy steps and you're ready to begin!
You'll find that no matter if you clone, copy, or '+ Program', at some point you'll come across the 'Edit Program' pop-up, allowing you to customize the branding and parameters of your Program.
Use the descriptions and links for the numbered elements shown below to understand how to set up your Program:
1) Program Title - Name your Program!
We recommend titling your program in alignment with your program focus or goal. Number sequences and internal codes will get confusing when you have multiple programs in play. Also, this title will be referenced in Flash messages, Program images and on the Programs page, so make it obvious which Program/Training this is related to!
2) Program Time Zone - Choose a time zone based on where your learners are located.
If your learners are located in multiple time zones, select the one where most of your learners are located. This time zone will be used to trigger all the events in your Program. Once your Program is Published LIVE, it cannot be changed. To make adjustments you will need to 'Clone' your Program in order to adjust the time zone. In short, multiple Time Zones means establishing a Series for learner groups in each zone...
3) Program Color - Is there a color associated with your branding?
If you know the RGB (Red Green Blue) color code for your designs, enter it in this field. If not, ask your designer(s) for your company color profile for branding communications and they'll easily get it for you.
If you haven't determined which RGB code you'll be employing for your Program branding, try using this in-depth color picker tool! You can easily see the RGB code for your existing palette, as well as scan colors and designs you like using the QR tool, immediately determining the RGB code related to that color.
4) Program Banner - Program BANNERS must be 640px x 106px
Use this ready-to-go template Banner for your Program! Switch out the title and logo with your own. How simple is that?
If you're more ambitious, change the color of the white backgrounds, text fonts, and even the sky/clouds background. Just remember to 'Make A Copy' under the 'File' tab first!
5) Program Icon - Program ICONS must be 256px x 256px

Note: Notice how BIG the number is? That's because the icon appears VERY small in the app timeline. Make sure your design is SIMPLE and BIG, so it shows up on very small screens.
