How to Use Goal Design

How to Use Goal Design...

1. Identify your singular Goal which all of your Results support.
  • This is the overarching reason for your Program

2. What Results are you targeting?

  • List all the Results that, when combined, achieve your Program Goal. Make them measurable!
  • Edit those Results so that they number no more than five.

3. What Habits need to be developed?

  • List what you want your users to KNOW, FEEL and habitually DO by the end of your Program, to accomplish each Result.
  • State your HABITS from the user's voice, as if already accomplished.
    • Attitude:  "I believe..."
    • Skill: "I know how to..."
    • Knowledge: "I always keep in mind..."

4. List all Topics you need to cover with your Users so they can develop those Habits.

  • Brainstorm what you would want your players to see or do to get them to adopt or change your listed Habits.
  • Organize these Topics under each Habit as appropriate.
    • A Topic is the starting point for writing a Q!

If it feels a little strange at first, stick with it! Try asking for some help with a Success Coach!
